Q) As parents we are advised that babies cannot process or digest milk proteins. We are advised not to give babies whole milk until they are 12 months but your formula is made from whole milk. Is it safe to give my baby milk based formula?
Designed by Nature says: Commercial milk & baby formulas are pasteurized which kills valuable enzymes in milk. The enzymes naturally found in milk make it possible to digest. One example is, the enzyme lactase digest the milk sugar lactose. Infants cannot produce large enough amount of lactase which is why lactose intolerance occurs. Another enzymes destroyed is phosphatase which is necessary for that assimilation of calcium. Finally the milk protein casein is also damaged during pasteurization making it very difficult to digest. Unpasteurized (raw) milk has all the necessary enzymes to digest sugars, fats and protein that are in milk. This allows the milk to be digested and absorbed with ease. Gelatin is added to the formula to make it more digestible for the infant.
Q) Why does your formula come frozen and not in powder form like commercial formulas?
Designed by Nature says: We believes strongly that nature knows best. In order for formula to become powder it goes through a process called spray drying. Each ingredient has to go through a tremendous amount of heat processing which kills the nutrients. Are ingredients are delivered fresh from the farm and handmade right away. Perfectly Pure formula is living food and to keep it alive and well it is important to keep it frozen in a sleeping state until ready to use.
Q) Perfectly Pure formula is frozen when how is it shipped it stay frozen?

Q) Why is it so important that the ingredients be organic?
Designed by Nature says: Pesticides are an enemy to the brain. Overwhelming evidence that chronic, low-level exposure to the organophospates (the most common class of pesticide) may affect brain functioning and neurological development in humans. This evidence indicates a strong likelihood that low-level chronic exposures adversely affects children’s nervous systems.
Also, found in commercial formulas is a chemical called Percholrates which is found in rocket fuel and destroys the thyroid gland. This chemical was found in 15 of the major formula brands Similac & Enfamil being the biggest offender. Melamine was found in concentration of 132 and 140 part per billion in Nestle Nutrition Good Start Supreme Infant Formula. The FDA is not concerned about the findings.
Q) What is all the hype about DHA & EPA? Is it really that necessary?
Designed by Nature says: The average human brain is composed of approximately 60 percent of fatty material & 25% of that material is made up of DHA. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is the primary structural fatty acid in the brain which humans cannot produce. DHA is a crucial component of the brain & nervous system. Mother’s milk contain 55% fat, which most of it is saturated fat. Saturated fatty acids are very important for generating myelin in the brain. Myelin is the fatty material that surrounds nerve fibers.
Q) Why does most commercial formula say it is fortified but DBN does not?
Designed by Nature says: Vital nutrients are lost during production of commercial baby food. Manufacturers need to “fortify” their puree with vitamins & minerals. Synthetic vitamins & minerals are not nearly as good a naturally found in food. Perfectly Pure Formula ingredients have never been killed so all of the nutrients are alive and well.
Q) I heard in the news that Cod Liver Oil is not safe due to being toxic.
